Thank you for saying that Barbara...TEMPERAMENT IS GENETIC....PERIOD. A
sound dog is a sound dog, even with some difficult history...a spook is a
spook
, eventhough training may hide it from many. A GSD should NEVER appear
nervous, or unsure, much less shake, cower, and roll its eyes at something as
innocuous as the approach of a judge.
By the same token, any GSD over puppy age, that goes waggin , kissy faced,
hearts and flowers up to a judge (stranger) is not correct. GSD, not Golden
Retriever.
Smoke and mirrors and crafty training can hide cowardice and nervousness,
but bad genetics goes to the bone. lol
