I would have loved to watch Helen judge in the German style. It is interesting
that most feel that she found the good dogs. Each Special got a written
critique. I bet every dog that Helen put up was sound in mind and body. I for
one absolutely hate the racing of the dogs and then watching half of those
entered go select. It dilutes the Special rating and as far as I'm concerned
makes the judge look like he or she can't make up their mind.

There are a number of great judges in our breed, but the two that come to

exhibator a survey, and that she would take from the SV shows a different

of judging. We elected her, and therefore, she had that right.
It may not have been as exciting, but the results were the same as any
