Since my sainted Irish grandmother fished rather than showing dogs, I'm on
my own here but I think Terry is right.
Seems to me that good ring procedure is important in every show but
absolutely, positively critical at a National.
There are judges who are easy to follow, both from an exhibitors perspective
and an audience perspective. You can pretty easily deduce what they like
and what they don't like. You may not always agree with the final placings
but in the end you at least understand why they did it.
