Tomorrow I'm taking all my kids to see Beverly Hill's Chihuahua......there is a
German Shepherd in the movie...I have also taken my dogs to school this year
about three times, My Army son has the most incredible temperament of any
Shepherd I have ever owned, my kids swarm all over him They beg me every week
to bring Raider to school...we have a wonderful breed, and we need to make sure
we don't screw him up.....Ed

"Bolt" is the new Disney/Pixar animated feature film to be released at
Christmas. Bolt is a white (too bad) German Shepherd Dog who is a TV
star who ends up running for his life on the road. A lot of people
watching this movie, especially children, will receive a lasting
impression of the breed. Will white GSD's suddenly become a fad? I
think that a thread evaluating Bolt as he is portrayed in the movie
would be an interesting theme. Having watched the two trailers I'd
have to say that Bolt is of course a cartoon character. His features
have been made human which one would expect. I think the animators
have watched real GSD's to create Bolt. Watch the two trailers at the
link below. Look at the GSD's structure. There is even a short
