this should have been told right from the beginning when there is not full
disclosure then people start to speculate and assume and that leads to, anger,
discontentment and disillusion. If this was told right from the beginning it
would have eliminated a lot of this. Purina isn't the only place that we make
a profit from the National. I know it is not the "WEST' however it is closer
to the west then purina, can we not get Colorado for next year? I assume it is
to late for this year. We made a profit there. Lets be honest the west coast
if very expensive, to live, vacation etc. So trying to find a place that would
make a profit would seem slim. If the people on the west coast feel different
then come up with some suggestions that fit the budget. If we keep losing
money there will be no club, no national nothing. The board present and future
need to make sure that no decisions that will put us at risk financially ever
be made again.
Am I happy we are back at Purina no, I love the place, but strongly believe
that the flooring is not suitable for our breed. If we have to be there would
love to see it outside on the grass. The days of our grand nationals are over
for now. Economy and poor decisions have done away with that for now. But on
the bright side we still are having nationals, now if we can only get it on
GRASS! :)

things were found that were unacceptable in cost or effort.
Shame, but I think the Board was, in this issue, looking out for the Club,
not just people who live in one region.
I wonder what percentage of the membership is in the far west. I know some of
our most important kennels are there, but there are also some very important
kennels in the east too.
