Kingsblood Royal (1947) marked the return of  Sinclair Lewis as one of the 
most controversial novelists in the USA. 
I think I was about 14 when I read this book, and with this  election for 
President, it might be a good book for some to read again.   Also, it sure does 
give us something to think about with the discussion of bi  colors and white 
dogs.
