[ SHOWGSD-L ] Baytril question

This may have been asked and answered previously but as i'm getting old and
forgetfull, i don't remember.I have a friend whose bitch has a utterine
infection. The vet has started her on a course of Baytril for 13 days. She came
into season and should be bred 3 days after the Baytril course is finished. His
question is" can she be safely bred and will the pups be affected if a litter
should result". I've been breeding a lot of years but have never had a
problem with infections or getting a bitch in whelp. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
