Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] Bada-bing!
Okay so my pick puppy bitch is very exuberant, animated and a real live
wire which all adds up to Great attitude.................HOWEVER, she
has springs in her hind legs. Every time she sees me, all she does is
jump all over me......bada-bing, bada-bing, bada-bing! She also jumps
all over the back door and window. Their run is attached to the deck.
She runs from one side of the deck to the other and this goes on all
day, no matter how much attention I give her. She wants to be inside
with me 24/7 and I do not want to make her a house dog just yet. I want
to wait until I show her and hopefully try to finish her. I love her
attitude and don't want to ruin that. But she's sure a live wire! I
don't care how many times I push her down.........bada-bing, there she
is jumping up on me again. She is the ring leader over her sister and
is ALWAYS looking for a way to get in to trouble. And she always finds
it. Destructive is not the word for her and her sister. They won't be
five months for over another week and a half yet. Anyway, does anyone
have any ideas about how I can keep her from jumping all over me every
time she sees me? Putting my knee up to block her doesn't do a thing.
As I said, I love her attitude and don't want to ruin that, but washing
my arms and legs about 10 times a day isn't all that appealing to me
