OK guys,
I have items in my possession that I am willing to donate to the fund/e-Bay but
need to know if anyone would actually be willing to bid on them.
I have a COPY of the original manuscript of Bill Koehler's Utility Dog
Training. It is typed and complete with corrections [copied] and publishing
notes - where to place photos, etc. and ORIGINAL hand written training plans
and colored pen underlines, notes galore. THE funny part is, whoever was hired
to type it misspelled Bill's name at the top of the manuscript on several
pages. It goes from "Koehler" to "Keller" on several pages.
Bill sent it to George Stephens for editing and training info. Bill and George
were close friends. George taught the method in the Atlanta area in the
seventies' and early eightys until his death. I was priveledged to train with
George for many years. When we ran into a problem, George would just drop a
dime and call Bill for help! I got to go to several of his seminars because of
George and have a complete set of autographed books. George gave me the
manuscript before his death.
I also have George's set of autographed books. They are either "TO George" or
"To Mert" George's wife....... Mert gave them to me just a couple of weeks
before her death.
I would be willing to part with them for something as important as this fund
raising effort BUT with all the touchy feely training going on today I don't
know if anyone would actually be interested in having them.
Your opinions please!!
