If the PC spends money to provide the streaming video to the members why
shouldn't they except to charge for it? Nothing in life is free. Whatever
they charge is a lot cheaper than a flight for 400.00 and rooms at 100.00 per
night.

How about a gate fee for those members who attend that do not pay for reserve
seating or are entered in the show? I know at the Rose City Classic it is 10
dollars to park your car and 5 at the gate. That ought to get everyone
excited :0)
I do think the size of the board needs to be addressed or they should use phone
conferencing except when it is time to check on locations for the national.
In today's economy that the club will continue to loose money. Â
it looks like we need to set a serious budge. Limit the number of dollars that
can be spent per day hosting the national. Reduce the size of the board or use
phone conferencing whenever possible. I would like to see each region hold an
election for a Representative for their area. Those folks make up your board
and a national election can be held for officers.

just finished reading the Board O Gram. Am I to understand that revenue
generation ( a charge) is being planned with the streaming video to GSDCA
MEMBERS? In addition, due to the 'serious financial issues confronting the
Board, a fee for the use of credit cards to purchase GSDCA products and our
membership renewal.Â
My question to those in charge of our clubs finances is with the
decreasing membership, how do you expect to retain the membership we
currently have?
In today's economy we don't need to have our club increasing fees. We
are all in the same boat folks. We need to tighten our belts and cut costs.
The head of the B&FÂ was â??thinking outside the boxâ??â?¦ well instead of
raising
costs to the membership why not look within and cut costs.
As Mr. Rinke mentioned in his interview, put the National in an area where
it is best for all to attend. Then we wouldn't incur these heavy losses
due to locations, flight restrictions, etc. I think our Board should take
note of how the membership feels the club should address these issues.
