Yes, we are. Helen spoke out about dogs she really liked and bragged for
her good friend. To bring something positive to the List and then get
blasted for it was pretty hurtful, I'm sure. We should all be so blessed to
have
such a good friend.
In truth, I miss all of the people who have left us on this List....even
ornery old Frank Tate. He really kept us riled up, didn't he? And who
could NOT miss the wise words and candor of Fred Migliore, the passion and
humor of Paul Root, and people like Gary and Patty....the list of folks who
have
given up on this List grows longer and longer.
If we aren't nicer to one another, soon there may be no List. That's
not to say we should sugar-coat everything, but maybe we could become a bit
more civilized and empathetic to the person on the "other end". What do you
guys think?
