Because, psychologically speaking, negative memories are more salient, and it
takes three times as many positive experiences to cancel one negative
experience.
I don't fault the negative people for being negative, because they just see
reality. I do urge the positive people to continue to speak out, because as my
mother always says, "The truth will always outlast a lie."

Why does everybody ONLY see those who are negative? Why don't people
put on "good and kind people" glasses instead of wearing "I see the
negativity" glasses?
yes, there ARE Mean and nasty people in the world. I fight them daily
as my "job" fighting animal rights nutsos. But then there are those
wonderful people by my side who are supportive and we join arms and
fight on!
