I have shouted this into the wind for years. Even when I was on the Futurity
Committee, for years, but no one felt it was worth listening to. That may
be a factor of how people feel about most of what I say.
Futurity was an idea that came from horse shows. In horse shows, all horses
are deemed born on the same day of the year, so that the futurities were set
in a close date. There is no reason we can't space out our Futurities over a
six month period, and let them be done in less of a hectic fashion.
Or, if you like it like it is, hate my ideas, or are just a complete idiot,
just continue on.
Not that there is anything wrong with that.
