The AKC HAS SANCTIONED TWO MATCHES IN ONE DAY. The AKC approved the amateur
and the regular Futurity for both the Midwest and the Southern Pacific ON
THE SAME DAY.

Just my opinion.
The problem with this is you cannot get the AKC to sanction 2 "matches" in
a
day to one club. That is why the amateur one is on a different day to the
futurity in the test regions. It was just not possible for us to take one
on
this year with the amount of educational programs we had planned and
hospitality events. We always have a sanction match and it is usually not
all that
well attended, so our club did not think it was a great idea. Plus the
expenses were an unknown at the time we decided. We will watch and see how
the
tests go and see the feedback.
