[ SHOWGSD-L ] All-breed ring and specialty dogs: Great ones

I was at the Rockland County show years ago when GV Rolf (Honky Tonk
Man) went BIS--WHAT A DOG!
And of course I have to mention our own BIS Select CH Punky, who
finished #3 all systems in 1995 and was #1 Herding dog for the first
few months of 1996 when we retired her. She went beyond greatness, to
me. Before she finished, she got 1 major in the specialty ring and 2
in the all-breed ring. In 6-8 months, she received 20+ Group 1s and
her Select rating. Did she win every time? Of course not--such is
the nature of dog shows and judging-but she was nonetheless great.
And she was SABLE.
