When I've had to fly Kolby (before he retired) I always used Alaska Air. They
were very nice and helpful to deal with on the phone and in person. They even
come to your seat to tell you the dog is onboard. Although I have always
traveled with Kolby and never shipped him by himself I don't personally know
about how they do on that, but from the standpoint of traveling with dogs they
get 5 gold stars.
