Used to be that 6 weeks to 2 months out was ok buying tickets. Seems this year
with airline mergers and gas prices, that has changed to closer to 3 months
out. ( at least for the flights I've been checking). A lot depends on the
airport you fly out of, and where your going, and it doesn't matter how hard
and long you look for a cheaper flight.
