This edition fills in data for IN and OR -- also adds
specifics for IN's HB 0198 and notes that a bill is expected shortly
in NC.
We hear from HSUS CEO Wayne Pacelle that they expect to introduce
these bills in 34 states this year. This list covers only the ~14
known as of today, plus two already passed and one already shot down,
so we're only at the halfway point.

This may be forwarded as you like. If the dog breeders of all 50
states aren't scared enough to take action now, it better happen soon.
You too, AKC -- surely you can figure out what these laws would do to
your registration numbers. Alerts are nice, but can't you justify
more, in the circumstances?
