We have the same, many feral cats and squirrels around which are truly
infested.
I fought here with so many different products to control including
Advantage, Frontline, Advantix, Comfortis, Capstar, DM to name a few and an
excellent pesticide dilute for tree's that worked great for 6 months.
Fleas get immune after time to near anything you use.....
Over 2 years ago my vet recommended a product called Vectra .........and I
have never seen anything work so well and efficiently. You can get Vectra
3D too which includes ticks and mosquitoes which I use every 3rd month.
Have not found a flea on anything here in well over a year and this is a
product that apparently the fleas do not get immune to. Vet calls it the
"new wave" in treatment.
There have been a few reported cases of skin rashes after use, and I had it
on 1 dog that was fighting Rocky Mountain spotted fever......so on him,
his immune system was out of whack at the time.
Hated wasting money on so many products that only helped............Vectra
I can strongly recommend.
