The board is slated to meet in a study session at noon Tuesday at the Fort Smith Public Library, 3201 Rogers Ave. Jo Ann Barton, Sebastian County Humane Society executive director, also will attend the study session to answer questions from the directors, according to a memorandum from Fort Smith Police Chief Kevin Lindsey to Dennis Kelly, city administrator. On July 20, Ward 2 Director Andre Good asked for a presentation on the idea.
