One of the current alignments that makes no sense at all is the Norwegian
Elkhound. They
are in the Hound Group - BUT they are not a hound. We have translated
their true
name incorrectly - Norwegian Elghund not Norwegian Elkhound. (hund means
dog not
hound) The Elg means Elk. They are a hunting dog, primarily used for
hunting large
game. In no way do they resemble any hound breed. Hopefully they will
be put into
a Northern Group along with many of the other similar breeds. I have to
agree with doing
some of these realignments.
