1/2 PT, TC, OFA (H&E), DNA-tested free of long coat factor, by Ch.
Encore-Asgard's O'Connor, TC, HIC, OFA (H&E) (by Ch Caraland-Survival's
Magellan OFA, ROM, (by AOE GV Unlimited) out of Encore's O'Shea, OFA, ROM) out
of Plamark's Electra of Asgard (by Ch. Lorien's Stepaside, OFA, ROM out of Ch.
Bomar's Diana of Asgard, OFA, TC, HIC, CGC, RN, CD (by Ch Asgard's Big Ben of
Encore, ROM)).
Pictured on the IBC of the September GSDCA Review and on page 37 of the June,
2009 GSDCA Review.
Phew!!! More impressive than I realized!!! :-) :-)
Now, what was I saying???
Oh, yeah....Harley won Best of Breed under Dr. Dale Simmons!!!
Harley's incomparable handler is Sharlonna and his groomer-extraordinaire, my
double-handler assistant, herding trainer/handler Dr. Gloria Rice. What a
team, eh???
We WERE going to have his pedigree printed on his sides, but, the AKC has some
silly rule about dying dogs. Maybe the List can take a petition to the AKC and
tell them how much they really love to read pedigrees?? Just a thought.
What is REALLY cool about this brag is that it didn't cost me $5.614 per square
inch....but, who's counting??? :-) :-) Thanks Zoe!! I know that some
editors feel less is more, and most people don't want to read too much (short
attention spans??), but, then others want more info, some for themselves and
some for posterity and some to slam.
Damn....it is SO hard to try to please everybody, but, THAT IS what good girls
do, right?

Tedi wanted to buy some leads so we went to the Santa Ana all breed show.
We had some time so we wondered over to the shepherd ring. The Best of
Breed dog was a real good looking champion male with great ring presence, a
fantastic side gate, and all the type you could want.
I tried to find out what his pedigree was, and who he was, but no one
seemed to know. I don't know who he was, but I heard someone call him Harley.
I will have to see who I can call to find out his sire and dam.
I do wish owners would print on the side of the dog who his parents are.
