I would imagine that the dog trailers didn’t come with the airplanes that
carried owners and their dogs from overseas. While one can like the facility
itself, that doesn’t mean they liked what it took to get there….
There are owner handlers who can present a dog just as well as a professional
handler- and many pros who started out by getting noticed for the job they did
presenting their own dogs. Some still breed and show their own even. Some
owner handlers who are skilled even opt to not go pro/get paid, believe it or
not! I should know.
I shall follow FB’s example and take the high road by just saying you shouldn’t
assume what I must have done nor where I must have been, as you weren’t there
but for one afternoon on Friday to spectate with your time divided between the
building and the outside ring; you told me that when we spoke and I met your
puppy who you had with you. I quite likely had far more time than did you to
spend mingling and spectating outside of my events in the 5 days I was at
Purina from early to late… Quite a difference than what could be purveyed in 5
hours, no?

I talked to did not feel of what you stated. The German GSD owners and
breeders I know
or talked to liked it at the Purina Farm being able to perform and show their
dogs to others.
The honor to Police and presentation was a wonderful for all to enjoy. Guess
you did not notice
all the trailers, vans, etc. with German GSDs inside. You must have not
walked around
as if you had the German GSDs would clearly have let you know they were
there.
