The co owner of my bitch took her young girl (German lines) on Friday, but I
haven't heard how she placed yet. I will have to wait til tomorrow :(

Subject: [ SHOWGSD-L ] 2005 GSDCA -WDA Seiger Show
We went to the WDA N. American Seiger show yesterday in Pitts., Pa. and had a
great time and seen dogs I wanted to bring home.
Wow this was exciting to watch what our breed can do and I enjoyed
watching the DOUBLE HANDLERS !! You think we are something ha ha they are
CRAZIER!
They work as a team outside the ring and INSIDE yes, they are allowed inside
the
ring to give the dog water and just to get him up more after the judge goes
by your dog in certain classes. AKC would have frowned for sure <grin>
I seen a lot of young people involved and handling the dogs. I observed VERY
good sportmanship with handlers shaking hands with congratulations.
I enjoyed listening to the critques made by the judges on his placements. I
was glad to see that I liked most of the judges winners!! :-)) The male heads
and RED RICH "real" pigment WOW!
Yes, there where dogs there that had problems just like some of our American
lines.
I would love to participate in a event like this sometime. If you ever get a
chance to go to a Seiger show do it....
