I saw a few reports, with photos, today of Wood Storks at a swampy pond near
Town Creek. From looking at the photos, it appears the observers accessed the
pond using a gravel farm road at this location. Ebird location pins were also
placed on this road. THIS IS A PRIVATE FARM ROAD AND CANNOT BE USED BY THE
PUBLIC, WITH CAR OR ON FOOT. I know the property owner and have not been able
to secure permission for birder access. DO NOT DRIVE OR WALK on this road,
matter how rare the bird may be. I will continue to talk to the owner, but
trespassing will only decrease the chances of access. If you can't see the
birds from the county road, you can't see the birds.
