Yesterday morning, I was waiting for the arrival of my grandchildren,
watching my bird feeders occasionally. On one quick glance, I had a really
nice surprise...my hummingbird had returned. I have not seen her since
December 4. I assume this is the same bird, though I couldn't see legs to check
for a band. I've also seen her today, so maybe she'll hang around again. I
don't know what she did for three weeks, but it's nice to see her again. Now,
if she'll stay for the Wheeler Dam CBC!
