A couple of things going on that I need to remind you of.
Brighton Speed Trials are on Saturday, for many years now we’ve been heading
to the coast for this fantastic event but this year I’m afraid I can’t make
it. (34th wedding anniversary, if I want to make it to 35 years of wedded
bliss I need to take Lady Smith Of Bickley for a tasty snack at lunchtime!)
But don’t let this put you off, if any of you fancy popping along please post
up on here & hatch a cunning plan, I’m more than happy to advise re
timings/route etc if required so don’t be shy.
On Sunday we have our meet at Teal Café from 9.00am. This weekend is a bit
special as it’s RO (& deputy) election time. Following my email a couple of
weeks ago nobody else has come forward so you’ve missed your chance to get
rid of us! However, we still need to go through the motions so Paul & I will
stand down & ask to be re-elected, we will need a proposer & a seconder who
must be club members, there will then be a show of hands. To do this we need
you there, so please come along, enjoy breakfast & we can get the formal bit
out of the way asap.
The weathers looking good for Sunday so I’d like to sort a little drive to
the meet. If you would lie to join us please be at Tescos in Riverhead by
7.50am ready to leave at 8.00am sharp. Route to be confirmed so just follow
me!
If you would like to attend one or both of the above please shout out on
here, I do this for two reasons.
1/ it gives me a good idea of numbers so I can make arrangements as required
with venues etc.
2/ it really annoys Andrew when he gets loads of emails ;-)
