Yes it had a 4 litre V8 developments lump when I had it. Went quite well....At
some point someone added a SEAC whaletail but I think that was off again last
year. Always look out for it, if it came up again i would be very tempted. I
certainly did provide a bit of history to someone before who was running a
wedge register or that may have been on PHRichard Davis07736322911Sent from my

Hi Richard .. that’s interesting – I think no.9 sold last year again (think it
has a modified engine ?) ...
... Another one of my pastimes is compiling a wedge register (which a few have
tried before I know ...) .. always interesting knowing a car’s history ....

Hi Mike
Reminiscing now....used to have a 350 SE (no. 9) and oddly last weekend went
past Ettington Chase hotel where the first Wedge Fest took place.
My first intro to TVR and loved that car.

Hi all,
Just thought Id join in with the spirit of conversation as I didn’t really get
much a chance to meet most of you at the Teal last time (mine was the dark blue
400se – one of the only 2 wedges there !) – btw are there any other wedge owners
who come to the meets normally ?
I need to get my car Mot’d again now although with things as they are its all
become rather low priority I guess ...
Anyway, more Tales of the Wedge coming soon !

Hi all
I hope you are all well & managing to keep clear of the virus? It’s certainly
interesting times both personally & on the business front!
I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you most of the TVRCC events over the next
couple of months have been cancelled & sadly I suppose this has to include our
Sunday meets at Teal Café, but I’ll come back to that one later. The real
heartbreaker
for me is the postponement of Le Mans & I dare say LM Classic might not
happen…not heard anything on that one yet though.
When not at work with us all stuck indoors over the coming weeks or months I
daresay an element of cabin fever might set in, as such I thought it would be a
nice idea to open up this group a little more to allow you to use it as a
general
‘chat’ forum. We usually encourage TVR related posts only but with your
permission Paul & I would be happy to let people post as they feel fit (keep it
clean….or pm me if it isn’t!!)
On the car front feel free to post pictures or videos of previous
events/holidays/runs out with a little story but don’t hesitate to post other
stuff you feel would be of interest.
If you just fancy a bit of a chat please do so, there’s plenty of us on here &
I’m sure you’ll get lots of replies.
Also, and possibly most importantly, as time goes on if things start getting
bit tough don’t be afraid to ask for help as I know everyone will be happy to
come to your aid in some way or another.
If it all goes a bit nuts we might have to reel it in a bit but we have a great
community of like minded frends on here & I’m sure we can keep it in hand
without having to monitor posts.
I hope this suits everyone on here?
Stay well & look after yourselves.
Nick & Paul.
Ps…social distancing….does driving fast cars at great speed on deserted country
roads count if we don’t shake hands/hug/kiss & keep a safe distance apart at
all time? Just wondered, weather looks great tomorrow!
