I am technically one of your local Marcos owners but never seem to get the time
to do anything car wise, however now retired I have no excuses.
At the moment its in for some colour alterations to make it my car and not
Barrie's car (the previous owner).
Do you have any Marcos’s going to Sharnbrook?

Subject: [seeng_carclub] Potential options for a new venue
Hi everyone,
Due to the pandemic and the losses they have incurred, Shuttleworth have now
implemented a new site entry policy which means everyone who is not an SVAS
member needs to pay £10-15 pounds to enter the site - even if they are just
going into the car park.
Now, the new fee allows anyone to access everything the site has to offer, but
assuming no one is really interested in looking at the gardens and collection
every month, I am assuming it is now time to start looking for a new venue.
I have not confirmed this will officially affect us with the Shuttleworth event
team yet, but I am pretty sure it will and they are not officially back until
later this month.
So...
I am looking for suggestions for a potential new monthly venue.
Options need to...
a.. Have a good car park
b.. Be reasonably accessible to everyone in the Herts/Beds/Middlesex/Bucks
regions
c.. Have a place for drinks/food
d.. Be... interesting or at least in an interesting location, i.e. not
Sainsbury's car park somewhere :)
e.. Be car club friendly
I have some thoughts in mind, but open to any suggestions folks may have.
If folks would like to send me some options, I will compile a list and send
them out for consideration by everyone and then we can select the most popular.
