Hey everyone,
yesterday's audit went well, the committee made no recommendations and
endorsed the maintenance expenses budgeted for next fiscal year. They
mentioned that, because of workers comp insurance, the roof repair estimate
looks in-line with their own experiences. Since we held the audit with 2
weeks left to the fiscal year, I'll send them final documents after we close
out the month of June and contact the accountant to get ready for taxes as
well.
Regarding the upcoming TDS work:
Jeff Herman has the bid info from TKS Roofing, who did work on the roof for
us in the past, is that who is providing the bid again? Ben Grunbaum
mentioned that Von Wiley Plumbing did work on our bathroom and lives in
Boulevard so might be someone to hit up for local contractors, if we want to
seek out more bids.
Ben threw out a suggestion on the grading - would the grading company agree
to a 1-year warranty on their work? As in, their berms/swales won't break
apart/collapse and will redirect runoff as per their bid, not that their work
will prevent erosion from occurring. Just a thought.
