We just spoke to a Yamaha dealer in the Key's and he said the 2011 motors will
not include the high thrust 9.9 with the 25" xl shaft. May have to go to the
8hp. We did notice that the 20hp 4 stroke is about the same physical size as
our 2004 large 9.9's. Though they don't come in the 25" xl shaft the 20' shaft
actually measures 23" to the cavitation plate. May be worth looking into.
