Glad to hear that the motors are installed to your satisfaction.
Our windless called for 5/16" BBB chain and we up it from 35' to 100' before
this trip. I'm glad we did as we have enjoyed better holding and more peaceful
sleep.
We are presently sailing south inside the Outer Banks of NC along with AJ and
Lisa of "Susan M. Jackson", hull 17.
We look forward to meeting up with you this winter.

I am considering a 100' chain rode which will cover most situations with all
chain. 150' would be better but the added weight of even the 100' bothers me.
It is a pound per foot.
Boat specs say that the chain we have is 8mm. I added a Muir windlass and the
gypsy works well on that chain. Do I need to buy 5/16 BBB chain??
