Dear Gary
We rest on the keels which have 1'x3' lump of wood under them, as well as
props set up fore and aft to avoid movement. I keep the gas off (no cups of
tea) due to paint fumes. We paint two coats of Altex 5 antifoul in one
bright sunny day, by pulling out very early in the morning and doing a 2nd
coat late in the day. We launch early the next morning. We also touch up
under the hull where the props have been resting. We do this while the boat
is suspended in the sling, just before relaunch.

We haul out in Sydney Australia every year on a travel lift using two wide
Kevlar straps placed in the water. We motor over them and place them where
they will not damage the hull/keel etc.
The boat is then hauled up slowly, with us alongside on the wharf fending
off if needed.

We want to haul out Sol Surfin for a new bottom painting.
Can the SeaWind 1000 be hauled out with a travel lift using straps. They
claim to have 4 straps. We have hauled out 2x but on trailers. I have
searched SCOAA for a while and have re-glimpsed into the famous KatiKat.net
site but haven't found anything after an hour.
