Just to be it very clear, I am aware of John's devotion and long service to the
club, I was never impugning impropriety of any sort. I hope John wouldn't take
my suggestion as an insinuation. My point was entirely one of external optics,
how it looks from the outside, granted this not big money or high stakes stuff
here. It is my point of view that anything that might raise an eyebrow should
be avoided, if reasonably possible. I accept the avoided fee reasoning for
sticking with the current arrangement, though Paypal might frown upon it 😉 Not
trying to stir up the stinky stuff here, just offering my perspective on what I
hope are shared values for the transparent and forthright governance of the
club.

Sent from ProtonMail mobile

-------- Original

Mostly a concern for the outward-facing optics of having payments route through
a board member's personal account. On a related note, I have the snack fund
bucket here at my place, to the tune of $114.28, I feel it be best to deposit
this in the club account. Thoughts on either from the board?<br
