It was pretty amazing - about 11:15, suddenly all across the northern horizon,
8-9 ‘candle flames’ lit up, and then proceeded to wax and wane, and move
horizontally - the first time I’ve ever seen aurora shimmer and twist so
quickly, with the occasional spire shooting up higher. Glad I’d parked facing
north - make viewing from the relative comfort of my driver’s seat just a tad
warmer than my outside chair <G>! P.
