Richland County School District One will host a "Best Singer in the District Contest" to area elementary, middle, and high school students. Auditions will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at St. Andrews Middle School. For more information, please read the attached flyer. The Best Singer in the District Competition is sponsored by Richland One’s Office of Visual and Performing Arts and the S.C. Institute for Vocal Training. The goal of this competition is to create an exciting opportunity for the district’s talented students to be inspired, motivated and eduated about the power of music. The event will draw positive attention to the vocal talent in Richland One, offer a safe venue for healthy competition, and encourage more students to participate in their school-based vocal music programs.
