IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH DRUMMING!!!!
Helloooo, Sambistas!

Enjoying this beautiful day in Mi’kma’ki!?!

We're on for our practice Tuesday, October 26.

As usual, doors open at 6:15 so we can get started at 6:30.
If you have already sent/ presented your covid vaccine info you won’t need   to do it again. If not you can either send it to Arleigh   arleigh42@xxxxxxxxx Or show it to one of us at the door.

Please see below for our current COVID protocols.    Hope to see everyone there!   See you soon! Arleigh, Barry, Molly, Sonya, and Wilma   *******************************   Updated Covid Procedures:   The Samba Nova Board asks that you wear a mask for the foreseeable future. The comfort of the group outweighs the comfort of the individual. Our safety and concern for the community now means we can get back to ‘normal’ sooner than later!    While Phase IV restrictions say that we can have 25 people inside, and as long as we have 2 metres of distance, masks are not required. However, since we tend to move around a lot, we’d prefer to err on the side of caution. Please wear a mask while you are inside. Feel free to step out for some fresh air if you’d like to take your mask off.   Our hope is that once we are able to relax the mask policy, we can extend our practices to 90 minutes.   Protocols:   Practice starts at 6:30 sharp and we would like to not have to open the front door after that, so please be there before then. Practice will be one hour. Please maintain 2m spacing. We recommend wearing masks for the foreseeable future. Hand sanitizer will be on the table as you enter the gym.  Please pay your weekly $5 fee at the start. (No one will ever be turned away for lack of funds). Write your name in the green book. Instruments will be set out with sticks and beaters and straps in your section. Once we are done with practice, please put your instrument in one of the equipment boxes or bags next to your section.   By attending Samba Nova practices, you are confirming:   no recent exposure to COVID-19, no recent exposure to people with symptoms, no recent symptoms of your own.
