[saint] Want to move to GoogleGroups..??

hi all,
we have been planning this for quiet some time. Since, the mailing list
hasn't got features like member profiles, so we can't keep track of people
who have already passed out from USIT.
The result = recent spur of people who wish to unsubscribe.
So, to enable people to join/unjoin whenever they like, can the mailing list
be shifted to a Google group.
Moving to a Google group would give features like: member profiles,
uploading of files, etc...
I just want to know whether everyone is ok, with this idea...??
