Hi Lillian,
I have been quite unwell and as always busy looking after 4 young kids and
working part time.
As a result I have not been able to attend the group nor be involved in the
team re writing for Descent.
I would like to be kept up to date with what the group is doing, and happy
to be involved in some small way - maybe editing someone else's work, but
realise that my involvement may not be possible..

Hi Lilian,
This afternoon I set aside time to read aloud all the stories from the
November 2017 Remembrance Day Flash.
I was in tears by the time I read the poem Lead Kindly Light, and wondered
why on earth I have such a strong emotional reaction to some things, but
especially those involving Australian military history. At one point
further on, I was sobbing.
Each Flash piece was moving in its own way, and it was both touching and
rewarding to follow the stories of the veterans, their fellow soldiers, and
their loved ones.
Thank you so much for sending the pdf, and well done to all the
contributors and the Writing Discussion Group Team.
