Hi Lilian,
This afternoon I set aside time to read aloud all the stories from the November
2017 Remembrance Day Flash.
I was in tears by the time I read the poem Lead Kindly Light, and wondered why
on earth I have such a strong emotional reaction to some things, but especially
those involving Australian military history. At one point further on, I was
sobbing.
Each Flash piece was moving in its own way, and it was both touching and
rewarding to follow the stories of the veterans, their fellow soldiers, and
their loved ones.
Thank you so much for sending the pdf, and well done to all the contributors
and the Writing Discussion Group Team.
