Hi Lilian,
If, and only if, you need to fill in a few minutes today, I have a book
lent to me on the Dreadnought Boys (young boys sent out from the UK  -
1920-1939- to be trained as dairy farmers near Sydney and on the  Northern
Rivers of NSW).  Having grown up on a dairy farm in Northern NSW, I
recognise a few of the families mentioned.  Others in our group may also
have connections with these men.

This Thursday is out meeting and Janet Pelosi is going to explain how to
write for Descent.  The new editors of  Descent have selected themes for
the next two copies. September is Siblings and December is Family
Celebrations, so think about writing-up an article or a  short story for
them.
