Afternoon,
I hope this finds you all well and your family as well. Social isolation sucks
but we have a wonderful team here at the Society doing everything they can to
keep us researching and meeting. (sucks, yes but I wouldn't want it any other
way.)
This week is our usual meeting week and we are going to meet virtually,
something new and different. If you had booked and paid for our normal meeting,
you should have had an email, today with the link for the meeting in it. If
not, please check with Danielle. Numbers are limited, this time to see how we
go. The topic is Help I'm Stuck.
On Thursday Night there is Jill Ball's webinar and on Friday at 4.00pm, is the
SAG Hangout. For those who don't know about this, go to the website, sign in,
look under Member Area, Connect Online and scroll down to find Friday Hang Out
With Sag. You can lurk if you want to or using a headset, with a mic, join in.
There is a chat area, like in webinars, for those of you who like to remain
silent. I attended, last week and it was great.
Now as several of us meet for coffee before and a group go to lunch after, I'm
organising 'Coffee and Chat', via Zoom on Monday at 11.00am. Zoom is similar to
a webinar but you can use you PC's camera and mic or type in comment into the
chat area, for all to see. This is a chat about how you are doing outside of
the group, a chance to share how you feel and connect up with each other. Let
me know if you would like to attend and I will set up a meeting and send the
link.
Bye for now, Lilian
