I am looking for a location SW of the greater Phoenix area that's darker
than Picked Post to do wide-field imaging of the Rho Ophiuchi / M4 area. I
also want to get away from the Woodbury Fire. I did consider Vekol but last
time I was out there (~8 months) I was stopped by 2 Maricopa sheriff
deputies. Also the safety of Vekol is still questionable. I am looking
somewhere along HW-84, HW-238 or I-8. I did consider the All Arizona Star
Party area but that's too far to drive.
What are my options?
Space is not black.
