So members of SAC may attend the SASS meeting in June I changed the
proposed meeting date from June 5 to June 12 (the second Friday). Also so
member may the AAVSO meeting in November without conflict I changed the
proposed date from November 6 to November 13 (also the second Friday).

The AAS annual meeting in Honolulu runs Jan 4-8, but I
doubt many SAC people are going, so no conflict with the proposed SAC
schedule.
The Society for Astronomical Sciences Symposium (Ontario Calif) is June
4-5-6 and some SAC people will be going to that, hence a minor conflict but
plenty of time to reconsider the SAC date in June.
The AAVSO annual meeting is Nov 4-7 in the Boston area.

We need to set the 2020 Calendar immediately. Voting on the 2020 calendar
at our next meeting, the Christmas party, would not allow me sufficient
time to arrange for guest speakers for January. GCU also needs to know our
meeting dates by the first week of January.
I have attached a PDF files of a proposed calendar for 2020. I
highlighted the meeting dates. Dates highlighted in red are officers
meetings. Full moon dates are underlined. I placed the meetings close to
the full moon. We would meet on the first or second Friday of the month.
There are no conflicts with the EVAC schedule.
I can extend invitations for January and February now If those dates are
acceptable. I would like a âYesâ or âNoâ vote on these date. We can
confirm the rest of the calendar to the club during our Christmas party for
a vote.
Any recommendations or thoughts are welcome.
