Dear Judith,
For whatever reason she seems to have had that name at one point in time, so
both should be indexed.
We can speculate for hours how it came about, but for purposes of the Ryerson
Index if both are included in the index, she will be found.
While a lot of people love their name and persevere with having to spell it,
and pronounce it all the time, others prefer just to take up something simple.

The attached notice shows (fmly Raynor) At first I thought it must be a
former/alternate name. She does not appear to have been married. Any
suggestions as to it's meaning.
