Hi John,
I live in the area for GL and MX. The Great Lakes Extra seems to be a free
local paper however it is not delivered to my home although I am in the
distribution area.
I will investigate tomorrow what their availability is as I am in the
distribution area for them, which I note Megan was indexing from the website.
I could get hold of the printed version from the Newspaper office or library
then put them onto RNR.
I'll check on The Gloucester one also.
I'll put my name in for now on the spreadsheet. To subscribe to them would work
out costly.
I've also been looking into the 'missing' Manning River Times copies of which
maybe available at the Museum who have 1952 ~ 2012.
The Newspaper office may have anything later than 2012.
I will let you know how I go.
You may notice I have cc'd Dawn and Paul.
Regards
Kay Brooke

Subject: [ryerson_index] Papers Available For Adoption
Due to a couple of indexing retirements, we now have the following papers
available for adoption:
(AG) The Age - Monday and Wednesday (RNR, approx 15-20 notices each day)
(CM) Courier Mail - Wednesday (RNR, approx 20 notices)
(SH) SMH - Friday (RNR, usually < 10 notices)
(BD) Bendigo Advertiser - 6 days (RNR, varies from 2 to 20 notices)
In addition, we have the following NSW country weekly papers available (all
small, usually less than 5 entries), which aren't in the RNR so are best suited
to a local indexer who has access to the printed version:
(GL) Gloucester Advocate
(GA) Great Lakes Advocate
(MX) Manning Great Lakes Extra
If you would like to claim any of these, please do so via the list so we don't
have any doubling up.
John
