Dear progressive Democrat, please consider and distribute this notice statewide.
In Bernalillo County, meetings to elect precinct chairs and CCC members will be
on March 24.
Become a Precinct Chair or a Central County Committee Member!
We need progressives to become precinct chairs or County Central Committee
Members, so that we can influence the Democratic Party on a state and national
level. Only Central County Committee members get to vote for State Central
Committee members. Only State Central Committee members get to vote for
Democratic National Committee (DNC) delegates.
Your opportunity to become a precinct chair will be at the county-wide or
ward-wide meetings which will take place in March. Find your precinct here.
Call your Democratic Party leaders to find out the date, time and place of the
precinct chair elections. Get information about your Democratic Party leaders

In Bernalillo County, the Ward meetings will be on March 23, 2019. Find the

Every precinct chair is automatically a County Central Committee member. In
addition, many precincts get more than one Central Committee member, depending
on the number of Democrats who voted in the last election. The apportionment of
Central Committee members for all NM counties in Bernalillo County is attached.

Go to your County or Ward meeting, and become a precinct chair or County
Central Committee Member. In this way, we can orient the Democratic Party to
directly serve workers, students and the environment.
Training on Becoming a Precinct Chair

The small-group, brief training sessions in Bernalillo County started February
7 and will be held until just before the Bernalillo County Party elections that
will be held in various local locations on March 23. Here is the training
schedule so far:
February:
9 (Sat), 2:30-4:00 pm, Central Unser Library
13 (Wed), 6:00-7:30 pm, Lomas Library
16 (Sat), 10:00-11:30 am, South Valley Library
16 (Sat), 11:00-12:30 pm, Rudolfo Anaya North Valley Library
March:
9 (Sat), 10:00-11:30, Lomas Library
9 (Sat), 11:30-1:00, Erna Fergusson Library
16 (Sat), 11:00-12:30, Rudolfo Anaya North Valley Library
Additional training sessions will be scheduled. Sessions can also be scheduled
to accommodate people who live in a precinct or a ward, so Party members can
meet and network at the training.
