Good morning People Who Want to Address the Climate Crisis!New Mexico has an
opportunity to directly impact the climate crisis through creating greater
carbon draw-downs into healthier soil. You can help in several ways:

CONTACT BERNCO COMMISSIONERS Monday or Tuesday: Say "Support Commissioner
Pyskoty's Resolution in support of the Healthy Soils Act that is being
considered in this NM Legislative Session."At the Bernalillo County Commission
meeting on Tuesday Feb 12, Commissioner Charlene Pyskoty is introducing the
Resolution. Three possible ways to support this Resolution:1) Please EMAIL the

Attend the Feb 12 meeting, 5:00pm - wear a Climate Crisis related shirt and
consider making public comment. Meeting is at One Civic Plaza in the Vincent
Griego Chambers. Arrive by 430 to sign up for the public comment list. Parking
garage tickets are validated too.
CONTACT the NM HOUSE AG COMMITTEE Monday or Tuesday:The Healthy Soils Act will
be heard in the House Ag Committee on Tuesday in Rm 315. The hearing starts at
8:30 but we are about 4th on the agenda.
