The use of Xenars on Rolleis spans decades. The basic design is the
same on all (tessar-types) but with that kind of time frame, it's
possible coatings and glass types changed. When a glass type is no
longer available, often the lens has to be recalculated. This happened
with the Rolleiflex T Tessar at some point after the war... I think in
the 60s...

always perceive that the group of photos from the Rolleiflex seem to include
a higher number of photos showing very good contrast. I wonder if it is just
