Hello Emmanuel and Richard,
- The amount of sodium thiosulfate results of the reading of P. Glakkides book,
in my understanding it was a constant but I can be wrong. An other reason is
that I wanted to find a standard procedure usable by anybody. I agree with you
that some realadjustments can by done varying this quantity.
- Fogging is not a problem for the most part of the mark of films, the only one
for wich I did'nt get any good result is Fuji Acros 100. I'll try to add
bromide in PQ.
- The bleaching choice was done more on toxicity than efficiency. But
permangante woks fine for me.
- The fixing step is present in the procedure, I'm allways using a hardening
fixer.
- Thank you for the formulae! The second one (Agfa) its very interesting for me
because it mix a developer and an hardener : formaldehyde + sodium hydroxide is
the base of an hardener. I'll try it asap.
I have a question Richard : I'm trying to avoid light fogging after clearing. I
made a test with Semicarbazide hydrochloride mixed in the second
developper(found in Glafkides) but I did not obtain good results do you have
an idea ?
Regards
Claude
